Will the Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper KDBC225DAC Replace the TDE 46304 Brake Calipers?

Question:
Im looking to replace my Tie Down Engineering 46304 brake calipers with the Kodiac 225. I saw on your Q/As that the 225s are a direct replacement for the 46304s. However, I saw somewhere that the pin spacing on the 225 is 6. My 46304 have a pin spacing of about 5.85inch as close as I can measure. If the 225s pin spaceing is really 6.00, they will not be a direct replacememt. Can you confirm the 225s pin spacing? Thanks!

Hey Chris. I just went out to the warehouse and pulled one of the Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper item # KDBC225DAC. I got just over 5-13/16" with my tape measure on the mounting pin spacing.
The Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper item # KDBC225DAC will definitely replace your TDE 46304 brake calipers.
What kind of trailer do you have?

The Kodiak 225 calipers fit perfectly on the Tie Down bracket and integrated rotor (i.e. they seem to be an exact replacment for the Tie Down 46304 calibers). I bled the brakes and will be testing the brakes tomorrow.
