I have a 2026 1500 Chev Custom Trail Boss and I need to install rails for my 5th wheel hitch. which rail kit do I need to buy?

Hey Don, congrats on the new truck! To add a set of 5th wheel rails to your 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trailboss, I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2504. This set of rails are industry standard which means they will work with almost every 5th wheel hitch on the market. The brackets are custom fit and install in pre-existing holes in your Silverado's frame. They fit all three bed lengths of the 2026 Silverado 1500 and the installation hardware is included.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I also recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C58FV. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your Silverado and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.

I used the B&W custom frame kit. It fits perfect and makes locating the rails a snap. The frame kit is very heavy duty and well thought out. I also installed the custom wiring kit so the electric cable sits inside the bed and doesn’t rub on the tailgate paint. I installed the system myself and a no brainer. Etrailer has videos that show the installation and is very helpful.
