Help Locating Tow Package Port/Plug on a 2016 Honda Pilot

2016 honda touring installing wiring for trailer cant find wire for sencor to plug it into

The tow package port/plug for a 2016 Honda Pilot is located behind the rear driver side trim panel in the hatch. If you have trouble locating the port you may need to remove a few things and pry the panel away from the body so you can get a better view of the inside. That said, I was able to find this plug by simply removing the access door on the panel instead of prying the panel away but this may be different for each vehicle. There are some models that the port/plug is easier to find than others but the port/plug is present on all.
Please note, the trailer wiring harnesses for a Honda Pilot like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness like part # 118760 have two connectors but only one is used unless you have the factory backup sensors. I have attached a review video for you on how to pry the panel back if this is needed.
