Does Bushing 105000 Have a Steel Sleeve
Published 11/18/2019 >
Question:
2006 Load Max 25k has AL-KO 12k axles, and 5 leaf 2 1/2 wide slipper springs. I need equalizers and spring bushings while I have the equalizers out. Item 105000 looks to be a match from my measurements, Ive just got a question before I order. Installation..... what is the recommended method? Ive replaced many automotive spring bushings, all of which had the rubber encased in a steel sleeve that could be pressed on to install. will these be the same method of just pressing until seated or does it change since the rubber bushing material is exposed?

Good question, because the photo is a bit misleading, but I can confirm that the Hayes Spring Eye Bushing for 10k Springs # 105000 is a rubber bushing with a steel sleeve. So you will be able to install it in the same manner as you had with your previous automotive spring bushings by pressing them in.
I have also added a link to our selection of equalizers for 2-1/2 inch wide slipper springs for you to take a look at.
