Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 2 3/16 inch long rubber bushing with the steel sleeve. Now, this rubber bushing has a steel sleeve in it, it's designed for use with the trailer suspension systems, and this is a leaf spring bushing, it's a component that's fitted to the end of the leaf spring, so that the leaf spring can be properly secured in place. The bushing you could see is a cylinder shape, so they could fit snuggly into the end of the leaf spring. Basically, you'll insert this bushing into the eye of the leaf spring to ensure proper sizing for the suspension bolt that goes through here, and this bushing will provide some shock absorbing cushion to help make the ride smoother. Few specs on this I wanna give you, we're gonna first measure the inner diameter that the suspension bolt will go through, so the inside diameter is gonna be right at 5/8 of an inch, the outside diameter from this part to this part, it's gonna be right at 1 3/8 inches, and the total length from one end to the other is gonna be right at 2 3/16 of an inch.
But that should do it for the review on this 2 3/16 inch long rubber bushing with the steel sleeve..
