What side of the boot goes in first the tapered or flat side?

The side of the Silicone Dust Boot # K225BSSI, that comes with the Rebuild Kit # KDBC225KIT, with the design on the outside ring needs to face in towards the piston while the other side should face the brake pad. I have attached a photo to demonstrate this.
