Difference Between Dexter Axle Grease Seals 010-036-00 and 010-054-00

Hi folks, is there really a difference between the 010-036-00 and the 010-054-00 Dexter seal...where either one would work in any same sized application? Thank you,

The only difference between the 010-036-00, our part # GS-2250DL, and the 010-054-00, our part # RG06-070, is that the 10-036 comes as a single unit while the 10-054 comes with 2 seals. Other than this they both have the same ID of 2.250" and OD of 3.376".
