Tommy, the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Slider Hitch part # BWRVK3775 is the best option for the 2020 Silverado 3500 short bed with factory prep package. The Companion is your best option because it provides an overall better towing experience. Since it is a slider with 2" of front to back adjustment it provides cab clearance for those sharp turns when you are towing your fifth wheel with the short bed truck. It also provides 3" of height adjustment for bed rail clearance as well. The Companion Slider fits directly into the OEM prep package without the need for an adapter like other fifth wheel options available for the 2020 Silverado.
The installation is easy, just drop the hitch into the pucks and lock the 4 rotating handles into the locked position. The 1" thick jaw provides one of the sturdiest king pin connections you can find in a fifth wheel which eliminates chucking for a more comfortable ride while towing.
