What To Do If Using the Demco Kar Kaddy SS On a Vehicle With Steering Wheel That Does Not Lock

Question:

2018 Mailbu, towed on Kar Kaddy SS. The steering wheel on the Malibu doesnt seem to lock when not running. I believe the procedure calls for the towed vehicle steering wheel should be locked. Is this imperative, if so what do you recommend? Is there a way to lock the 2018 Malibu steering wheel or what lock system would you recommend?

Correct, the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly part # DM9713045 does indeed call for the toad vehicle's steering wheel to be locked while in tow. If the toad vehicle's steering wheel does not lock then you will need to find a way to tie this off in a fixed potion, some use the seat belt. That said, I don't have any devices for this but there are some available. If you like you can reference the owner's manual which I have attached for you that further explains the steering wheel lock requirements.
