Poor build and design. Ratches are flimsy and difficult to release. I've replaced these twice now.
The item was ordered and received in 24 hours It took about 10 min to replace the old unit with the new unit. A little WD 40 on the bolt / over night waiting on the new ratchet. The new engineering on the ratchet make it much easier to work . Thank you for quick service, and email updates on delivery in real time. We were leaving on a trip with the dolly this weekend, we didn’t put it off for the lack of working ratchet. The small amount of extra money spent on overnight shipping kept us on schedule. Again thank you.

I contacted e trailer on this DM5432 left side ratchet. Only using the product 3 time the pin that holds the long handle and gear fell out on the last trip. I was told it was not under warranty to contact the Demco. I can’t believe maybe the pin wasn’t in right manufacturing process. You cannot buy that handle, a new left side must be purchased plus shipping. I bought at the time the right side and left side only the left side let go. I am want to be clear this is not the paw. I would understand that happening.

I would like to write a review on the customer service of etrailer . I had a problem with a left ratchets on the demco trailer. I looked in the reviews if others had this problem in the reviews, and couldn’t find any documentation. I purchased a right and a left ratchets a year ago. I contacted etrailer about the problem and their Customer service rep: handle the problem working with Demco . This was old fashions service and very much appreciated.
The new ones are smaller on the front side next to the dolly, not as thick, and that makes them loose, but hopping they will stay in when they are turned on with a car on board! The ratchet seems to work well.
Took awhile to get but etrailer warned me of that upfront. Gave me timely updates until straps were delivered. Straps were just what was described and matched old ones exactly. Have used this company before and will continue to.
It was great to find the right product with the correct part number and an explanation of which number went on which side of my dolly. Shipping was fast, the parts were perfect, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for a great transaction.
Exactly the part I ordered. High quality. Old winch was damaged on road. Removed bolt which allowed damaged winch to be removed and new winch installed. Add on new strap and back to towing my car behind RV. RV and tow dolly parts etrailer has been spot on!
