Yes you do need the converter module and relays in the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector part # 118265. The converter module will connect in the rear cargo area of the Honda Pilot to match up your vehicle's wiring with the trailer wiring because the trailer has a 2-wire system and the vehicle has a 3-wire system. The relays and fuses activate the functions in your vehicle to power the 7-way. You do want to make sure you are installing all of the pieces for proper function.
