Will Rear of 2013 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 be Raised With SumoSprings Suspension Enhancement
Updated 09/13/2019 | Published 09/12/2019 >
Question:
Sumospring SSR-338-47 on 2013 Sprinter 3500 hitch height. Looking at installing the ssr-338-47 springs on my 2013 View. Do these raise the hitch height? Its already high on my View. I have read that the heavier duty yellow model of the sumospring model raises hitch height an inch or so but have not seen any feedback on the 900 lb black version. Thanks

It is possible the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-338-47 will raise the rear of your 2013 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 about 1/2 inch to an inch when installed, with the reason being they replace your less effective factory bump stop.
That slight raise is actually going to be part of the benefit of the SumoSprings because this is what will help keep your Sprinter level, which will help improve your Sprinter's overall handling and stability so you can enjoy the time in your rig.
I have added a link to a video install of the SumoSprings # SSR-338-47 in a '13 Sprinter for you to take a look at as well as a video showing these springs in action.
