Question:
We have a Honda 2000 generator with a pull start.. how hard is it to pull the genny once it’s on the tray

Expert Reply:
Since the Honda 2000-2200 watt generators have the pull start handles on the side rather than the top, it shouldn't be too difficult to start the generator once it's on the tray. Once installed, the cargo tray will sit about 29 inches above the top of the trailer frame. So, measure from the ground to the top of your trailer frame when it's hitched or on the jack level. Measure up 29 inches from there. You'll find that you'll be somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 feet above the ground. That will give you an idea of how high up the generator will sit. If you can find a retaining wall or something sturdy that's about 4 feet tall you could put the generator on, you'd be able to get an excellent idea of how easy it'll be to start the generator when its sitting at that height.
