Wanting to purchase this unit but also purchasing and installing a inverter/charger in our airstream install. I read running wattage is around 1750w what is the starting/surge wattage so I can make sure I have the right inverter/charger for our needs.

The running power requirement for the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner part # FR86PR is 1,720 watts or 15.4 amps and the starting power requirement is 4,800 watts or 40 amps. That said, the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner has a built-in compression system that would prevent the high starting amps/watts from tripping the breaker therefore the power supply only needs to be rated for the running watts/amps according to Furrion.
