Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the replacement retainer straps and clips for the TruXedo TruXport tonneau covers. Now this will replace the two retainer straps and the clips on the TruXedo TruXport tonneau cover. And that TruXport tonneau cover is a nice soft roll-up tonneau cover that you can roll it up to the back of the cab and give you full access to the truck bed. And basically these retainer straps and header clips is what will hold that tonneau in place behind the cab when it is rolled up.
The straps themselves are an elastic strap you can see. They do extend. These parts are made in the USA. Overall strap length from one end to the other is 12 inches. And this is for a quantity of two straps, two header clips, and a nice set of instructions that'll describe how these install.

I bought a used truck with a bed cover. One of these straps was missing and the other was about to break. The company that sold the cover didn't know what I was asking for. These replacement retainer straps worked perfectly. Interesting part of this is that I have a factory Mopar rollup cover for a 2019 ram. One of the straps broke and the dealership said they couldn’t get they part. I wanted to charge me 580$ for a whole new cover. So I started doing my own research online and found etrailer. These retainer straps that we’re for a truxedo roll up tonneau were identical and fit perfectly. So if anyone has a mole fire Tonneau roll up cover and strap breaks these work perfect. Holding strong and better than the original ones.
If you have the mopar cover - this is the company that made it and it is a direct replacement if you break one the straps.
Received the replacement straps quickly - great! High quality straps that will help us keep our cover in place.

After a year the Truxedo TRUXPORT tonneau cover looks and functions like its brand new. I broke one of the rubber retaining straps next to the rear window, found a replacement, installed it and it, too, is working perfectly. I liked the TRUXPORT tonneau cover on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma so much that I purchased a 2022 Toyota Tacoma and bought the exact Truxedo Truxedo TRUXPORT tonneau cover for it. It, too, looks and fits great. I HIGHLY recommend you consider the TRUXPORT soft roll-up tonneau cover if thats the style youre looking for. E-Trailer has been a very good supplier of these covers and parts for me.
