Question:
Is this hitch bolt on, or do you have to drill the trailer frame? If this one isn’t bolt on, can you recommend one? 2019 Ridgeline current trailer is 4400 pounds, new one will be under 3500.

The Curt MV Weight Distribution System part # C17050 offers bolt-on installation therefore you won't have to drill into your trailer frame. The frame hanger brackets which are the only part of the system that installs on the trailer are held in place by set screws which just butt up against the frame and do not protrude though. The 500 - 600 lb weight capacity will be perfect for your trailer.
The only other thing you will need to complete this setup is a hitch ball, the 2" Hitch Ball part # 40038.
