Question:
The Hydrolic drum brakes # T4423400 and # T4071500 other than the $5 what is the differance?

Expert Reply:
The difference, other than cost, between the Titan Uni-Servo free backing Hydraulic 10 inch Trailer Brake Assemblies, # T4423400, and # T4071500, is that the # T4423400 assembly has Galphorite plating which delivers superior corrosion protection for boat trailers that are repeatedly exposed to water and sometimes salt water.
Other than that these brake assemblies are constructed the same and will brake the same, the coated assembly will just last longer when used on a boat trailer.
