The etrailer 24x60 Folding Cargo Carrier, part # e99874, will fit on your 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe as long as you have a 2 inch hitch on your vehicle. The clearance for the rack measures 19-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest point of the carrier when it is in use, when folded down the closest point of the rack will sit 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole. In order to be folded up while on your Tahoe, you will need less than 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest point on the rear of your vehicle.
