An installation kit confirmed to fit and recommended by B&W for your short bed 2018 RAM 2500 is their Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2602. I have included an installation video to help you get started.
For your 2018 Ram 2500 Short Bed with RamBox, you do need to use a Sidewinder pin box that moves the pivot point of your trailer back which is needed for turning clearance with your reduced space due not only to the short bed, but even more so by the RamBox without a Sidewinder. The problem is the bed is more narrow on models that have the Rambox feature and this reduces turning clearance. We have heard from customers who have installed 5th wheel hitches in Rambox models. But they have to use Sidewinder replacement pin boxes to move the trailer pivot point back so as not to hit the stock pin box against the bed sides.
If you don't already have a Sidewinder to use with this solution we can recommend one if you provide us the model number pinbox you currently have. As far as 5th wheel hitches, the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BWRVK3255 or B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # BWRVK3200 are both great choices depending on your capacity needs.
