Hello, I was wondering if you could confirm a US 2019 Kia Sorento EX with the 3.3L V6 has the factory tow package and would be compatible with Light kit Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C56332. The manual indicates this model has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds and tongue weight of 350 pounds. I cant find any reference to an add-on factory tow package for this model and the dealers are clueless. Much appreciated. Thanks!

There is a very good chance your 2019 Kia Sorento has the factory tow package if it came with the 3.3L V6 engine. The dealer is the only way to know for sure but since it sounds like you were having troubling getting this information from them I have another option for you but it will require a bit more work on your end. This option entails crawling under the vehicle and trying to locate the connector which if present can be found behind the rear tire of the driver side, on the outside frame rail (see video). If you have this connector present then you should be able to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56332. Make sure to check the fuse box as well to make sure you have the correct fuses inserted to activate the tow package.
