Hi, I want to purchase a 12inch radial tire 4 bolt 4 but I cant seem to find any above 65mph rating. Im also trying to determine the speed rating of my existing tires in order to verify a good match. Where is the speed information listed on the tires?

You'll find important information about your trailer tires right on the tire sidewall. This information includes the tire size, of course, as well as the Load Range letter code for weight capacity, the Speed Rating letter code and the inflation pressure.

For a radial tire only with a speed rating higher than 65-mph you might consider the Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT48012C which fits 12 x 4-inch wheels and which has a speed code M, which means it is good to 81-mph. This tire has a Load Range C rating, good to 990-lbs when properly inflated to its maximum pressure of 90-psi. This is our only 12-inch radial trailer tire with this high a speed rating. You'll simply choose a mating 4-bolt wheel and have the tire mounted locally.

We have three Kenda ST145/80-12 radial tires pre-mounted to a 4-bolt aluminum wheel and all appear on the linked page. These are all Load Range D tires capable of handling up to 1220-lbs apiece. All are rated for 65-mph maximum speed. If we do not expressly indicate a speed rating in the specs this means the tire's rating is 65-mph.

Please note that 12-inch tire sizes 4.80-12 and 145/80-12 are NOT the same overall diameter; the 4.80-12 is 20.5-inches overall diameter when inflated and the 145/80-12 is 21.3-inches overall. If you wish to tell me your specific tire size and the GVWR of your trailer I will be happy to offer recommendations.
