Will the Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire Fit a 6 Inch Wide Wheel

Question:

The listing says it fits 6, 6.5 and 7 inch rim widths. However on the tire its printed standard rim width 6.50inch - you can see it in one of the product pictures. Is it safe to mount this tire on 6 inch wide rim?

Yes, you can use the Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire part # PRG80235 with a 6" wide wheel like what you have now. I confirmed this with the manufacturer for you. The standard wheel size of 6-1/2" listed on the actual tire is best but you can go down to a 6" wide without issue. This would be the minimum wheel size however.
