Can TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps Be Used If Not Fully Extended
Question:
Like your video, I have a 2008 Montana Mountaineer. So I know it fits. However, whenever we park in front of our home, we have a cement curb and sidewalk. The factory 3 rd step sits flat on the sidewalk. Therefore, can I extend the Torklift steps less than fully so they are usable on sidewalk? The adjustable feet will not compensate for the height of the curb/sidewalk. I understand that the step-to-step height should be less. Hope this makes sense.

Yes, you can absolutely still use and walk on the TofkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps # TLA8004 even if they aren't fully extended. I did reach out to my contact at TorkLift to verify this.
They will have no problem supporting weight when in this state and this very design is what makes them a great choice since they can be used in tighter spaces or areas with unlevel surfaces.
