Hi Kaleb, great question. I know combining air bags with a B and W Turnoverball hitch can be tricky, but there is a good option that works with your setup.
With the B and W Turnoverball Hitch part # BWGNRK1108 on your 2002 Ford F250 4x4 long bed. One of the best options is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus Air Springs part # AL88291. This kit is compatible with in bed hitches like the B and W Turnoverball and gives you up to 5,000 lbs of load leveling support while also including internal jounce bumpers for added ride comfort and protection. I know our fit guide says product only fits trucks with B&W fifth wheel hitch 1105 or 1199R but the BWGNRK1108 is the updated version of these hitches so you are good there.
I like this setup because it helps keep the truck level under heavy loads without affecting the unloaded ride quality, which is especially nice on a 7.3 truck that may see everything from daily driving to towing. The air bags and gooseneck hitch mount in different areas of the truck, so they work together without getting in each other's way. You'll still have full use of the hitch and your truck bed while getting the added support from the air bags.
I would definitely consider adding an onboard compressor system. It makes a huge difference because you can adjust the air pressure from the cab instead of stopping to manually fill the bags every time your load changes.
My favorite option is the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System part # AL58WQ. It lets you control the air bags from your phone, automatically maintains the pressure you set, and eliminates the need to run an airline into the cab for a gauge. It is one of those upgrades that doesn't seem necessary at first, but once you have it, you'll never want to go back to manually adjusting air pressure. I think you will be very happy with this setup in your Ford.
What are you planning to tow with the truck, a gooseneck trailer, horse trailer, or something else?
