Features to know about

Secure Heavy Campers with Confidence: Frame-Mounted Strength

These rear tie-downs bolt directly to your truck’s frame, creating solid anchor points that keep your camper stable mile after mile. Because the frame is the most rigid part of the vehicle, you don’t get the flex or movement that happens with bed or bumper mounts. The load stays low and balanced, so handling feels steady even on rough roads or in crosswinds. It’s a safer, more comfortable setup for long trips with a heavy camper.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Tie-Downs

The custom-fit design uses pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling and no need for cutting or modifications. That means you can bolt them on quickly with basic tools and be ready to load your camper in no time. The brackets mount up tight to the frame, keeping ground clearance nearly unchanged so you won’t drag or snag them when driving off-road or over uneven terrain.

Keep a Clean Look When You’re Not Hauling: Removable Arms

When your camper isn’t loaded, you can pull the arms out of the brackets and leave them off. The frame-mounted brackets tuck up close underneath, staying nearly invisible from the side. You keep the clean look of your truck without bulky hardware hanging down or sticking out.

Built Tough for the Road Ahead: Powder-Coated Steel

Made from heavy-duty powder-coated steel, these tie-downs stand up to road grime and weather without letting rust take hold. The durable finish adds protection against corrosion, keeping them strong and looking good after years of hauling through rain, salt, and sun.

Adjust for a Perfect Hold: Dual Anchor Points

Each arm includes two pin holes so you can extend it just enough to clear fenders or bodywork, and two anchor holes in the attachment plate help you find the best angle for your turnbuckles. That extra flexibility lets you dial in a secure hold that keeps the camper locked down tight from multiple directions.

Very durable and good looking product. It is a great investment for someone like me who carry heavy camper on the bed of my pick-up truck. Would highly recommend it.
by:
This product is made to fit several versions the Ford F250- mine is a 2002 model. This attached to the factory installed hitch just as it said it would. The only derivation came when I went to attach the bracket which locks over the bolt and existing crossbar. The angle of the bolt did not match the angle of the fitting, so it does not quite fit as snug as I would like. Nonetheless, it holds well so far, being that the acorn nut tightens down and locks things in place. I hauled a 1 ton slide-in camper 60 miles without any hassle. This product does what Etrailer said it would, and along with its counterparts in the front of my truck box, - also an etrailer purchase- I have no worries about summer camping season! I am a satisfied customer.

they work great, easy to install and securely hold my camper

by:
The Torklift True Frame Mounted Camper Tie Downs I purchased for my 2004 F350 with single rear wheels seem to be constructed out of sufficient steel gauge and grade of steel to adequately hold a camper in the truck bed. This method of securing a camper to the bed of the pick up is probably the most secure method available because it does not rely on the strength and integrity of the bed walls. My experience with this Ford is that the pickup bed is not designed for certain weight bearing applications and such as supporting heavy overhead racks on rough roads. They are also probably not designed to handle the forces that may occur on rough roads, during an emergency maneuver, or during even a minor collision with a bed mount system. The same is probably true for Dodge and Chevy.
by:
TLF3001 fit my 1999 F250 SD with frame mount receiver hitch. Solid built with steel. Best way to secure your camper to the frame.
by:
Speedy service, was delivered when they said they would be.
by:
Driver's side front tie-down was tough to install, my '99 Ford Super Duty wouldn't allow the placement of the 1" backer plate on the inside of the frame due to other OEM things installed in that channel of the frame area. I was able to get the bolt and star washer in. Other than that the whole system was straight forward and good quality!
by:
Perfect fit on 2001 F350 crew cab with factory tow hitch. Super easy to install and work perfectly. Got front mounts to and also work perfectly. Definitely worth the money. Thanks TorkLift and Etrailer for another great bolt on product!!!
I'm a happy camper!!

Exactly what we wanted. Installation was pretty easy for me, a 70's year old, and my wife provided her skillful assistance. We got about eight thousand miles on our damper last year.
by:
Products came before promised and etrailer matched lower price I could have gotten [online] for the same products.
by:

  • Which Torklift Camper Tie Downs Fit 2004 Ford F-350 Dually
Hey Mike, thanks for the picture of your setup. From that I can tell you have steps that stop before the truck bed which means the correct tie down kit from Torklift is the part # TL45NR which comes with the tie downs # TLF2007 and # TLF3001.

  • What Size are the Inner and Outer Tubes and Wall Thickness of TorkLift Camper Tie Downs
The TorkLift camper tie downs you referenced, # TLF2011 and # TLF3001 will have an outer assembly and an inner assembly. Tie down # TLF3001A will too but it has aluminum components. The measurements will be the same for all of these. I pulled # TLF2011 to take the measurements. The inner tube is smaller, 1-1/2 inches square with a wall thickness of 3/16 of an inch. The part of the inner tube that you tie the camper off to is 1/4 inch thick. The outer tube is larger at 2 inches square...

  • Recommended Camper Tie Downs and Turnbuckles for a 2002 Ford F-250
For your 2002 Ford F-250 I recommend checking out the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF2007 for the front, and the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF3001 for the rear. These tie-downs are American made, custom fit to your vehicle so there won't be any ground clearance loss as these hug your vehicle's frame, and are virtually undetectable when not in use. Additionally, you're also going to need a set of turnbuckles in which I suggest going with the...

  • Camper Tie Downs for 2000 Ford Super Duty
There are several different types of tie downs, bed mounted, bumper mounted and frame mounted. For you 2000 Ford Super Duty I recommend frame mounted tie downs, they provide the strongest base for securing your camper. Since the attachment points are on the frame, which is lower than the bed, it distributes the weight better and gives you better handling and a more stable rig. The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs Front # TLF2007 and Rear # TLF3001 are a great example. The...

The Brophy tie downs # HSAB should only be mounted to make contact with the metal of the bed so I would not recommend them for your 2002 Ford F-250 unless you can remove those caps. Since you are trading in the camper for perhaps another camper the best solution is to use custom fit frame mounted camper tie downs. Since your F-250's hitch was installed after it left the factory it could potentially be either a factory hitch or an aftermarket hitch.
