Features to know about
Solid Stability on Every Trip: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs
These tie-downs mount directly to the truck’s frame, the strongest part of the vehicle, so your camper stays secure no matter how far you travel. By spreading the weight across the entire bed and keeping the center of gravity low, they prevent sway and top-heavy movement that can affect handling in crosswinds or uneven terrain. Once they’re tightened down, your camper rides with the truck as one solid unit for a smooth, predictable drive.
Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Rear Mounts
Because these tie-downs use pre-existing holes in the frame, there’s little to no drilling and no cutting required. Each bracket mounts tight to the frame for a clean fit and minimal loss of ground clearance. The setup is made for bolt-on installation using the included hardware, so you can get everything mounted quickly and confidently with basic tools.
Stay Sleek When Unloaded: Removable Arms
When you’re not hauling a camper, you can remove the arms from the brackets and keep your truck’s clean look. The brackets sit nearly flush with the underside of the frame, staying out of sight until you need them again. It’s an easy way to keep your setup functional without bulky gear hanging below.
Built Tough for Real Roads: Black Powder-Coated Steel
Made from heavy-duty steel with a black powder coat finish, these tie-downs stand up to corrosion and tough road conditions. The durable coating resists chips and rust so they keep working and looking good even after miles of use in rough weather or salty roads.
Secure Fit and Easy Adjustment: Dual Anchor Points
Each arm has two pin holes so you can choose the right extension to clear fenders or sidewalls while lining up your turnbuckles (sold separately). Two anchor holes at the connection plate give you flexibility to get the best angle for a tight, stable hold. This setup makes it simple to dial in a secure fit that keeps your camper steady on every trip.

I have a 2024 ram 3500 dually stock max tow package. I figured I’d put pictures up that are of top quality and lighting as most instructions on trailer a vague and generic. This product fit perfectly and it went on in 15 mins for both sides. ( no rusty bolts to mess with though) Attached are photos of before and after install and bolt placement. 3412193
Product was refurbished but sold as new. Once again etrailer.com prefer to sponsor a YouTube channel the literally insult viewers (BTBRV) than be honest and sell new parts (as advertised) 3618570

My brother installed these and he used air tools. The brackets fit perfectly. The instructions were thorough. They bolted right in and the only delay was the disconnect/reconnect of the e-brake cable to install the driver's side bracket (2019 RAM 3500). After all the parts were laid out, he installed all 4 brackets in an hour. He commented many times on the weight, high quality and PERFECT FIT of these brackets. These are worth the price and made in the USA. 990959

This was a no-drill installation on a 2020 Ram 3500 using factory bolt locations. If your truck has a Mopar retractable bumper step, it must be removed in order to install the driver side tie-down. In my application, carrying a Lance 650, the draw-bar extended out too far from the truck. I had to drill another hole in the draw-bar so that there was clearance for my TorkLift Fastguns to attach. 1232068

I paired these with the front mounts and am totally pleased. Easy to install and simple to use. I would recommend these for any size camper, not just the juggernaut class ones. They keep your camper rock solid and not wallowing around like you see some of the bed-mounted brackets. 1294621

THESE TORKLIFT CAMPER TIEDOWNS ARE AMAZING ! MY CAMPER HAS NOT SHIFTED NOR HAVE THESE BRACKETS SHOWN ANY FATIGUE . I RECOMMAND GETTING THESE ! 1693113
Torklift mounts are easy to install and are the only mount that will fit on my 2019 Ram 3500 contrary to what Happijac might tell you. They install to the frame and are out of the way until I put the camper on. The frame extensions are easy to put on and secure the camper without the need to do additional drilling. Overall these things work great and are a much better solution than any other tie-down system. Installation wasn't overly difficult, but I did have to remove my factory bed step, so it would be nice if they had a solution to allow the factory bead step to coexist with the tie-downs.
I find the overall price a bit high for what is provided. I think a price of $400 for all four or $250 for two (either front or rear) would be much more reasonable. 1053744

Installed easily, had to remove fold out bumper step on my Ram as they occupy the same space and instructions say won't fit with step so knew that going in. Didn't want the bumper mount type so small sacrifice for a superior product. 931096

Easy installation on a 2020 Ram 3500 Dually. Most difficult part of the Front Tie Down installation was removing the emergency brake cables. The Rear Tie Down installation was extremely easy. This Tie Down is a quality product. 784897

Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. We do offer TorkLift frame mounter camper tie downs for your 2024 Ram 3500 6.4' bed with cab length steps. You will need the following:
- TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front # TLD2141
-TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Rear # TLD3112
Keep in mind that dually trucks may require the TorkLift Camper Anchor Relocation Kit # TLA7004. Also, these tie downs will not fit vehicles with aftermarket rear mounted Mopar kick-out... view full answer...
Hey Dan,
TorkLift unfortunately doesn't have a fit for models with running boards that extend under the cab so you would either need to remove the running boards or switch to the HappiJac Camper Tie-Downs # LC236326-205221 instead. If you remove the running boards then you would need the TorkLift # TLD2141 and # TLD3112. view full answer...
Hi Colin!
We have some options for your 2022 Ram 3500 Crew Cab diesel model with the short bed and full length running boards, but I do have a couple questions.
First, do you have a factory hitch or an aftermarket hitch (if aftermarket, which one)?
Second, are you willing to remove or modify the running boards?
Third, do you have factory under bed flip out steps?
The reason I ask, TorkLift is very specific with their fits and the Front Camper Tie-Downs # TLD2141 require your full length... view full answer...
Hello Chris, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the B&W Class 5 Hitch # BWHDRH25502 will indeed be compatible with the # TLD3112 Torklift rear camper tie downs. Just keep in mind the # BWHDRH25502 is intended for models with the 6-1/2' bed and will require removal of the factory hitch.
If you need the front tie downs as well, those are part # TLD2141. These will work if you have no running boards or cab length only boards. view full answer...
Thanks for all the info on your truck and camper Jack as that makes picking out the tie downs you need for your 2019 Ram 3500 very easy.
The tie downs you need are the # TLD2140 for the front and part # TLD3112 for the rear. Since you have a dually model you'll also want the # TLA7004 for the rear setup. These are custom fit to your truck specifically so you get a very easy to install and very secure attachment point for the camper to attach to.
Only thing else you'll need is a set of... view full answer...
For your 2020 Ram 3500 dually the correct Torklift tie downs are the part # TLD2142 and # TLD3112. You may also need the part # TLA7004 and to determine that you'd need to measure from front of camper slide in point to rear anchor point; kit is needed if less than 90 inches. view full answer...
The correct tie-downs for your 2019 Ram 3500 Tradesman short bed depend on your hitch. You can choose from the following:
With a factory installed hitch or non-Torklift aftermarket hitch
-TorkLift Talon Camper Tie-Downs # TL52XR (front) and # TL34FR (rear)
or
-TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLD2141 (front) and # TLD3112 (rear)
With a TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum 30K
-TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLD2141 (front) and # TLR3510 (rear)

Hi Sean!
The TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front and Rear # TL34FV you found includes the rear tie down # TLR3510, which is specifically designed to tie into a Torklift SuperHitch Magnum 30K hitch. With your 2025 Ram 3500 having the factory hitch, you will want the following kit instead:
TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front and Rear # TL23NR
This uses the same front tie downs ( # TLD2141), but uses the rear tie downs that work with the factory hitch ( # TLD3112).... view full answer...
Due to the limited information I can actually see about your 2020 Ram 3500 all I can see is it is a crew cab long bed. This does not give me any information on steps which may extend under your bed or if you have an aftermarket rear receiver. The TorkLift Front # TLD2140 and Rear # TLD3112 Tie-Downs will fit your bed with the factory receiver and no steps under your bed sides. If you have something different Jacques, please let me know.
If you need turnbuckles I recommend the FastGun... view full answer...
Hey David! Do you have an 8' bed on your 2021 Ram 3500? If you look at the TorkLift site it states under the # TLD2140 "For trucks with stationary OEM running boards use D2142." Since you have non-electric stationary running boards you need the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front # TLD2142 instead of the 2140. For the rear you still need the # TLD3112.
If you don't already have them you will also need turnbuckles like the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles for Frame-Mounted... view full answer...
You can definitely install the HappiJac tie-downs in the front and use Torklift tie-downs for the rear, but you'll have to purchase the whole Happijac kit # LC236326-205221 since we don't currently offer the front separately. For the rear you'll need the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLD3112.
To complete your setup you'll also need to pick up some turnbuckles, like the HappiJac Qwik-Load Turnbuckles # LC182895. view full answer...
I have another option, but the HappiJac Truck-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # LC236326-205221 (FT-DR10) you mentioned is only a confirmed fit for the 6-3/4' Bed.
Since your 2019 Ram 3500 has the 8' Bed I recommend the TorkLift camper Tie-Downs Front # TLD2142 and Rear # TLD3112 if your truck has board or step extending under the bed, or if you have a fixed running board or step under the cab.
If your truck has the factory electric running board under the cab or no running board or step you... view full answer...
The difference is the part # TLD3113 fits the 2020 Ram 2500 and the part # TLD3112 fits the 3500 models. They are not interchangeable. Since you have a 2500 model you would want the TLD3113. view full answer...
We have the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs Front # TLD2142 and Rear # TLD3112 for your 2023 Ram 3500 Crew Cab long bed dually with the factory running boards. You may need the Anchor Relocation Kit # TLA7004 if your slide in camper is less than 90" from the front slide in portion to the rear anchor points. I recommend using the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK to secure your camper in the bed. These have a stainless steel construction for corrosion protection and a black powder... view full answer...
For any running board/step, including the Bestop AMP Research, they will not interfere with the TorkLift camper tie-downs so long as the board/step does NOT go underneath the bed. So as long as the board ends before reaching the bed on your Ram truck, then there will be no interference.
The correct TorkLift tie-downs on your 2022 Ram 3500 with a 6-1/2 foot bed and a factory hitch or TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum 30K are the following:
- Front: TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs... view full answer...
I have a couple of pictures that I have linked for you showing the installed tie downs to use as reference. On the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs Front part # TLD2142 and Rear part # TLD3112 there are no notes in regards to temporarily removing the fuel tank. As for the compressor that is going to depend on exactly where it is installed.
I do not currently have an installation video. view full answer...
There are many different TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for a 2022 Ram 3500. In order to find the correct ones you'll need to know the bed length, step option, and hitch option. The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs part # TLD2140 for front and part # TLD3112 for rear for example is designed for models with an 8' bed, no steps or boards, and with a factory installed trailer hitch. If you have different options you'll need to choose these from the list below... view full answer...
If I follow correctly, you are using the HappiJac Truck-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs, # LC350763-182971 on your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 but cannot use the rear mount due to installed bumper design. If you are looking for a frame mounted tie-down, I suggest the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLC3215. view full answer...
I have a solution for you, but the HappiJac FT-UT9 is designed for older model Dodge and Ford trucks, so they're not the correct tie downs. Additionally, there is not a HappiJac tie down that we have available for your 2020 Ram 3500 dually long bed.
Instead, if you don't have the board or steps that go under the truck bed and a factory hitch, you'll want to use the TorkLift # TLD2140 (front) and # TLD3112 (rear). These would be the correct camper tie downs for your truck. It should also... view full answer...
Thank you for the photo - the running boards on your 2019 Ram 3500 with the 6-1/2 foot bed and the factory hitch are considered cab length running boards because they do not run underneath the length of the truck bed. Therefore, the correct Torklift Camper Tie Downs for your truck are # TLD2141 for the front, and # TLD3112 for the rear.
For a set of Turnbuckles, I recommend the TorkLift Locking FastGuns # TLS9529-2-LK. view full answer...
For a 2020 Ram 3500 Mega Cab with full length running boards and a 6-1/2' bed you'll need the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLD2141 and Rear # TLD3112. On dually applications rear camper anchor point location may require the use of # TLA7004. Measure from front of camper slide in point to rear anchor point; this kit is needed if the measurement you get is less than 90 inches.
To complete your setup you'll need also need some turnbuckles like part # TLS9020. view full answer...
Yes the Torklift Camper Tie-Downs will work fine with your 2022 Ram 3500 with factory air suspension.

For the rear, you can use the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLD3112.

With these you'd want the TorkLift AnchorGuard Derringer Turnbuckles # TLS9020 to complete your setup.
