You are correct that the B&W Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1313 will not fit your 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 if it has the Mega Cab but we do have a nice selection of hitches that will.
I specifically recommend the Curt EZr Double Lock # C60682 that features a stowable design that lets you flip the hitch ball over when not in use to provide you with a completely clean truck bed. It has integrated 5/8 inch thick safety-chain hooks to allow for easy hookup, a double-lock system to provide added security, and a 30,000 pound towing weight capacity.
