We have a Cedar Creek 38el and the awning lights stopped working. I was wondering what the thickness of this strip of lights is.

I went out to our warehouse to take a look at the Replacement LED Light Strip # LC423331 that you referenced. The light strip itself is extremely thin so it's going to pretty much fit inside any housing that's designed for this purpose. I also grabbed the complete light kit, part # LC674283, that this is a replacement strip for and found that the housing opening was just about 1/16 of an inch.
So as long as your existing housing is at least this size the replacement strip will work perfectly.
