How Far to Tap Bearing Buddies into Trailer Hub
Published 07/10/2019 >
Question:
I purchase Bearing Buddy model 2717SS from you. The installation instructions state that you tape them on until they stop but I feel Ill be butting up against the wheel hub at that point. There is a ridge prior to tapping them on until they stop. Is this ridge where I should stop when it reaches the edge of the wheel hub?

You'd want to the Bearing Buddy part # BB2717SS as far as you can into the hub as that will allow them to fit as securely as possible. So you'd want to go past the ridge you mentioned.
