Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at our Valcrum Hydro-Shield Waterproof Aluminum Oil Bath or Grease Cap for 6,000 to 9,000 pound axles. So folks, this is a complete waterproof oil cap or oil bath cap, and it's gonna keep water, grit, and everything out the way so your bearings and hub stay protected. Now, this is a direct-fit replacement. It does replace those factory bath and grease caps, gives you the O-ring, and it even has a plug in here for select axles, or rather the front plug here. This drain plug here can come out and it is magnetic.
It has a little magnet inside of there, so that's gonna help catch any kind of little shavings, those kind of things that you don't want getting inside your bearings and messing things up. And again, it's aluminum, it's an anodized aluminum. It has a nice e-coat overall that, so it's gonna give you great resistance to corrosion so it can stand up to the rain, sun, salt spray, snow year after year after year. So again, it fits a wide variety of axles, and this would replace, again, either that wheel cap, or your grease cap, o-ring, and everything you need. I'm am looking forward to see if they work as advertised. I tow a 40'boat all the time and have had nothing but bearing problems. Water has been getting into the bearings rusting and destroying them. Staff was a great help as well.
