Can it fold flat? yakima ridgeback on 2015 wrangler

Yes, The Yakima RidgeBack 2 Bike Rack part # Y02457 does fold flat. The arms fold down with a quick-release control lever and the shank folds in for storage. I have attached a photo of the bike rack folded flat for your reference. You can also fold the arms down while the rack is still on the Wrangler when you are not using it. I have attached a photo of that as well.

Can you explain how to fold the shank. It seems to be locked and I can not find a lever pull to release it.

@WayneM Hi, the button on top of the mast of the bike rack allows the arms to fold down. Then pull the lever on the front of the mast to fold the shank.
