Question:

The tightening bolt on my hitch wont tighten. Seems like the threaded bolt which is connected to the tightening wheel is stripped. Is there a repair kit and instructions for replacement?

Since the tightening knob for your Thule Apex 9026 bike rack (replaced by the Apex XT # TH9026XT) is spinning you want to first verify that the key is in the unlocked position. This bike rack had a neat feature where the knob would just free-spin when the key was in the locked position to help deter theft.

If it is in the unlocked position then the next step would be to use the Locking Anti-Rattle Knob # 753-0073 and see if that fixes your issue.

If you are still having issues with the anti-rattle device not working properly then you would need to replace the bike rack. According to my contact at Thule at this point it could potentially be a warranty claim so you'd want to reach out to whoever you purchased the bike rack from or Thule directly for that.
