Brake Controller Installation in 2019 Toyota Tacoma without Tow Package

I order the pod brake controller but I do not have the Toyota tow package. How do I install it

Thank you for your purchase of the Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller # 39523. This will install in your 2019 Tacoma using the wiring adapter part # 3031-P which connects between the controller and the plug-in port under your dash.

Since your Tacoma does not have the tow package you may need to install some fuses and relays to activate the wiring. The online owner's manual I reviewed does not provide a legend for the engine compartment nor passenger compartment fuse boxes so you'll want to check your printed manual to see which fuse/relay positions relate to the tow package or you can check the lids on the fuse panels as they may have a legend to tell you what fuse/relay needs to go where.
