Why Is The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Not Lighting Up Without A Trailer Connected

Question:
2025 honda pilot. Bought redarc pro brake controller from you folks, controller and pro harness, had honda dealer install. Noticed on pro harness tph-013 fit is only to mdl year 2019! Only light w/o trailer hooked up is a blue light when knob pressed, no other lights when driving, is this correct and was the pro harness the correct one? Thanks, Lee

Hey Lee,
The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness # RED74CR isn't going to light up unless the trailer is connected or if you press in on the manual override control knob. It just turns itself off when not in use to conserve power. The harness you used isn't an issue and you should be good to go.
