Hi would I need a 7 pin electrical to tow a 2000 lb aliner ranger or will the 4 pin suffice on a 2007 Rav4 Limited, v6?

According to my research, the Aliner Ranger Trailers did come standard with 10" electric brakes so you will need to install a 7-way trailer connector and a brake controller on your 2007 Toyota RAV4 in order to tow it. For this, you will need a combination of the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118412 and the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L.
If you use the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation with the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 which is what I recommend then you don't need to run any wires into the cab of your vehicle and this cuts down on install time dramatically.
