Question:

I have a 2018 Lance 1475 that came with a Fantastic Fan. I do not like that fan at all, since my previous TTs had MaxxFan Deluxe. Im short and LOVE the remote on the MaxxAir. Anyway, can a mobile tech guy replace the Fantastic Fan easily with the MaxxAir version? He cannot get on the roof - this version of Lance has a non-walkable roof. Also, can he transfer the Fantastic fan to replace the crappy bathroom fan? along with the rain guard thing?

Yes. A mobile tech can replace the Fantastic Fan easily with a MaxxFan Deluxe like # MA00-07500K. The non-walkable roof is the biggest issue, but dispersing weight over the camper roof and supporting as much weight as possible on a ladder or other support will allow accessibility on the composite roof.

Swapping out the bathroom vent for the Fantastic Fan will be a similar swap and the rain cover can easily be moved as well. It actually will be an easier swap because of the clamping style connection to the roof requiring no screws on the exterior.

I recommend using the Roof Vent Installation Kit - Sealant, Butyl Tape, Screws - White # 344270KITW which will give you the sealant and screws needed. It will give you enough sealant for the relocation of the second vent as well that doesn't require screws.
