Can You Install Non-Power Folding Towing Mirrors on a 2017 Ram 3500 with Power Folding Mirrors

Question:
Hello. I have a 2017 Ram 3500 that I want to put TRAILER TOW mirrors on but the original regular mirrors are power fold mirrors. I dont want the trailer tow mirrors to power fold but I do want them to have power and for them to be heated when I plug them into the factory wiring. I am also concerned that it could potentially throw a code because it wont recognize the lack of the power fold feature. Your thoughts?

The best replacement towing mirrors we have for your 2017 Ram 3500 are the K-Source Custom Flip Out Towing Mirrors part # KS60195-96C. These mirrors are a direct bolt-on/plug and play fit for your vehicle. The power adjustment feature will be retained and so would puddle lamps, turn signals, and heated glass if your current mirrors have these features as well. The only feature you would loose with these mirrors is the power fold adjustments but it sounds like you are aware of this.
In regards to a check engine light appearing as a result of replacing the power folding towing mirrors with non-power folding towing mirrors, this will not be an issue. There is not a check/balance for this that is built into the in-dash warning system.
