Question:
I just bought and installed the Thule Aero Bars, only to find out once I tried to mount my existing Thule Sidearm bike rack, that the carriage bolts were too short. Is this a known issue? Can I get longer bolts, or a clamp for the botton that fits the bars profile better? What do you recommend?

In order to use your Thule Sidearm Roof Mounted Bike Rack part TH594XT on your new crossbars you will actually need to use the Thule Xadapt3 Xsporter Load Bar Adapter part # THXADAPT3 which gives you the longer bolts to install the rack.
