Truck Bed Bike Rack For Truck With Tonneau Cover Rails

Question:

Will this fit when you have a tonneau cover rail on the side? I didnt see any pictures showing it working with someone with a tonneau .

The Inno Velo Gripper part # INRT201 installs where the tonneau cover rails are installed so it will not fit with the rails. I have attached a photo that shows how the Inno Velo Gripper is attached to the bed rail.

I recommend the Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed bike rack part # TH93VR to carry a bike in your truck bed because it allows you to carry 1 bike in the bed without interfering with the tonneau cover rails. The Thule Insta-Gater Pro is held in place by the tailgate compared to the other options that clamp to the bed rail. The Insta-Gater Pro is not a fork mount carrier so there is no need to remove the front wheel of the bike your carrying like other truck bed bike racks. Since it is secured by the tailgate there is not any need to bolt the bike rack into the bed like with other racks.
