Recommended Truck Bed Bike Rack on 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 with Side Rails

Question:
I would like to use these towers to mount bike racks over the bed of my pickup truck. Will I be able to attach them to the raised round bed rails that mount in the stake pockets?

I have a truck bed bike rack for you, but unfortunately the Yakima Timberline Towers # Y33TR are not made to connect to the raised side rails of your truck bed.
To carry bikes on a bike rack mounted in the bed of your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 I recommend checking out the RockyMounts Truck Bed Track # RKY10995 and pairing that with a RockyMounts LoBall Locking Truck Bed Bike Rack # RKY1096 for each bike. The track permanently installs on your truck bed and then the LoBall is lockable so your bikes will need to be unlocked to remove from the truck for security.
