Question:

I noticed that there is a 2inch opening/reciever connection at back of this carrier. Can I attach a 2inch bike carrier to this receiver - training the two together? I would add a hitch clamp stabilizer to the basket hitch tongue to reduce sway.

I do have a bike rack and cargo carrier combo for you but you cannot add a bike rack to the end of the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18151 because that is not what the opening is deigned for. The Curt Cargo Carrier would not be able to withstand the added stress of a bike rack. Instead, I recommend using the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Platform Bike Rack w/ Cargo Carrier part # HR1450Z-85 which is the only bike rack and cargo carrier combo on the market that I am aware of.

The cargo carrier can then be removed if needed and you can carry an additional two bikes with the 2 Bike Add-On for Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 part # HR1475Z. The Sport Rider SE is actually one of my favorite bike racks because there are adapters available that will let you carry pretty much any type of bike out there. They also all come with a lifetime warranty.
