Question:

1999 ford F450 cab and chassis. I am looking for a gooseneck hitch that I install on my 450. It currently has an aluminum flatbed that has a gooseneck well. I need the hitch to fit where that well is at, which is right over the rear axle. What kind of hitch do I need? Thanks

For your 1999 Ford F-450 Cab and Chassis with aluminum flatbed you will either use the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1500 or the Buyers Products 2-5/16" Fabricators Flatbed Gooseneck Hitch # 3375613500. The fabrication to your frame will need to be custom made. There is not a factory custom bracket already available for your truck from any of our manufacturers so they recommend making what you need from these parts on Cab and Chassis vehicles. The recessed well won't be an issue with these parts since it will already require fabrication.
