What are the dimensions on the hitch? Is it square of rectangular and if rectangular does it need to go in a specific way?

I had the Buyers Products 2-5/16" Fabricators Flatbed Gooseneck Hitch # 3375613500 measured and have a picture with all measurements included. This is indeed rectangular and is typically installed with the longer sides going across the bed area. This allows for easier access to the ball release lever.
