Question:

Puck system with Pullrite 2700 slider I own a 2018 GMC 2500HD WITHOUT the factory puck system and want to put one in. I am looking for 5th wheel and gooseneck. I have a Pullrite superglide 2700 that I want to use. I am having trouble finding out what is the best route to go.

For your 2018 GMC 2500HD without factory prep puck system, I recommend adding one using the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Complete Hitch # RP30158-68. This will give you pucks that look and function just like the factory yet the 5th wheel pucks will be in slightly different location/position than the factory kit. It is designed for using the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # RP30156 to give you the industry standard rail locations you will need for your Pullrite Superglide 2700 ISR. This combination will give you exactly what you were seeking for look and function.

I recommend adding the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 41157 to the bed of your truck for a clean look and second functional 7-Way. I've attached a video to assist.

That Elite rail adapter is compatible with Reese Elite puck systems on Elite underbed systems regardless of year/make/model, and it is also compatible with the Ford factory puck systems as the locations line up with the Ford Factory Prep Package. Chevy/GMC and Ram have different puck locations and require different adapters for their factory prep packages.
