I bought a sport rack vista xl cargo box and it didnt come with anything to mount it. I saw there was a kit for different sport rack boxes, would that work for this one?

We have all of the mounting hardware components available for your SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box # SR7018, but they are not offered in a single kit so you will just need to purchase the individual parts. To mount the box onto your roof rack you will need the following:
4 of the U-Bolt # TH02943
4 of the Plated U-Bolt Bracket # TH03918
4 of the Plat Box Support # TH10378
8 of the Wingnut # TH04877
