This is going to replace one wing knob for your Thule cargo carriers. This is going to fit M6 bolts. Now those carriage bolts are sold separately, but you can find them here at etrailer.com and this is directly from Thule, so you can have the confidence that this is going to work for you as the correct replacement if you are in need of a wing knob. I bought these as replacements when I bought new U bolts since mine had rusted badly. I would definitely recommend replacing both at the same time If rusted since there is no way to clean rust or other gunk like sand from inside the nut. Both parts shipped the same day as I ordered and fit perfectly (as OEM parts should!). This past year has been a breeze mounting my carrier without fighting the rusty parts.

We bought a used Sears X-Cargo Sport 20 Cargo Carrier but it was missing 3 of these wingnuts. I need a replacement parts for a SportRack rooftop cargo box I purchased years ago from [store]. It appears [store] does not sell these or parts for them anymore. The part number for the SportRack brackets we’re identical to these, except these have a “TH“ in front of the part number. They worked perfectly when they arrived and are exactly what I needed.
Parts are good as usually comes from Thule. However ordering from Thule directly is not an easy process and for parts in particular. etrailer has very good site and easy process of finding parts and I appreciate that. Plus, I got all emails tracking my order, and that is great work. Thank you very much. Next order for Thule things I'll do on etrailer as well.

Etrailer has some pretty obscure parts for a relatively old cargo carrier that I purchased second hand. Aside from trying to match what I needed to the product numbers, the service was good, the delivery was quick, and the parts were exactly what I needed.
I own a Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack - Frame Clamp - TH599XTR. The design comes with 2 small nuts to attach the rack to the roof bars. This wing nut makes it much easier and quicker to put the rack on the car roof.
These are a perfect replacement for the my roof top carrier "U" mounts.

The wingnut is still working. Its used on a roof top cargocarrier, and was the perfect replacement for the original part.
My Thule Rooftop Cargo Box is 15+ years old and the carriage bolts had rusted so bad I used a bolt cutter to remove them. The rust had also made the wing nuts useless. I searched local hardware stores and the big box retailers (HD & L) but no one had the pieces I needed to replace them. I resigned myself to adapting the attachments and rigging up something that would work.
On a whim, I searched Thule Replacement parts on the web (I know, I should have done that first) and eTrailer came up with exactly what I needed!
Within a few days I had the parts in hand and the Cargo Box is good as new! I'll be coming back when it comes time order a hitch...eTrailer is a great find!

Exactly as advertised. Used it to mount an old Yakima space booster cargo box, and it fits perfectly in the existing box mounting holes and on round or square bars. You can't beat the price anywhere.

My experience as a customer has been amazing. First, I was just happy to find custom parts for my Thule roof top storage. It's an older model so I am not always sure that newer parts are compatible. The price was fair, and sometimes you just need a couple pieces to make something like new again. These wingnuts are very convenient for taking the storage on an off of my car, but they crack over time. It's possible to DIY, but then you lose some of the ease of the shape, or it might not match the set--- which for me, I tend to notice those things.
I am very pleased with my Thule carrier which has lasted a long time, but happy I found etrailer to replace the critical infrastructure :). Now I get to enjoy and extra long lasting product to it's fullest.
The delivery was quick and the customer service people and experience is pretty amazing. They don't bombard you with advertising.

They still work perfectly. It allowed us to keep using our rooftop carrier.
