How do LED Sidemarker Lights Wire in to Trailer Light Wiring
Updated 01/10/2012 | Published 01/08/2012 >
Question:
1980 Gregor 15ft 25 HP Johnson 2-stroke on trailer. When installing a one black wire, LED yellow side marker, do you splice into the power or ground wire? Is the ground a non-contact type on this type of LED light? Thanks in advance for the advice.

When installing a sidemarker light such as this Optronics Trailer Light # MCL44AB you will want to splice into the signal wire for your trailer running lights circuit and then run the ground wire to a clean metal surface.
The black wire will be the power wire and the white wire is the ground wire. I attached an FAQ on trailer wiring for you to check out also.
I also attached a review video for this product for you to check out. This video shows how the light gets wired and looks when light up.
