Question:

One the fence on whether I need the 1000 blue or 1500 black helper springs. I usually dont carry a load in my truck, but do pull a 22 ft boat on weekends and load up the bed with vacation stuff and the boat a few times a year. Which option would best suit my usage.

For your 2013 Ford F-150 4x4 with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine, I recommend using the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-117-47 which are rated for 1,500 lbs. The reason I recommend going with the 1,500 lb system over the 1,000 lb system (part # SSR-117-40) is because it's better to have too much capacity than not enough. The SumoSprings are also made of a much softer material than their counterpart, the Timbrens so they won't have that jolting feeling while you are unloaded and hit a bump.

I have attached both a test course and install video of the SumoSprings for you as well.
