Since you have the utility bed on your 1998 Chevy C/K Series 2500 you will want to be looking at trailer hitches that are for a cab and chassis model as opposed to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15317 for a 10" Deepdrop Bumper.
For your application a better option would be a multi-fit option like the part # 41990 which you can then use either the 7" drop brackets # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets # 4916 to try to work around the service body.
