Question:

Hello, I have a caryover model 2000 chevy k3500 cab/utility dual rear wheels cub cab 4 door 6.5 diesel, I have a platform dump bed on it that is mounted high, the hitch i have on now has a 5inch from where it mounts to frame to top of receiver, clearance is not a problem, I would like to find a new hitch for it looking at the 15317 and 15511 but not sure on the fit I have included a picture of the mounting bolts on center from where the old hitch is mounted. looking for suggestions on a new hitch Thanks my measurements are very close but could be off a tad.

I would be happy to help.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15511 measures 33.26" wide, 5.562" between the two mounting holes closer to the rear of the truck, and 11.43" between the center and furthest forward mounting holes.

The Curt # C15317 you were looking at measures 34-1/2" wide, 9-5/8" between the furthest forward mounting hole and the center mounting hole, and 4-7/8" between the center mounting hole and the furthest back mounting hole as you can see in the included diagram. Theses holes are all slotted, so I would say this is the closest option for you though I would first remeasure your truck just to make sure the measurements you got were accurate.
